Dr Sara Clark is a specialist surgeon known for her caring and professional approach. She was raised in rural North-East Victoria and has returned to live and provide care to people of the Albury-Wodonga region. Dr Clark graduated from the University of Sydney and completed her surgical training in Newcastle and the Central Coast NSW. She was awarded the General Surgery Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and subsequently pursued subspecialty training at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and Concord Repatriation General Hospital in Sydney completing the BreastSurgANZ accredited Post Fellowship Training program in Breast Cancer Surgery.

Dr Clark performs a range of General, Breast and Endocrine surgery including:
Oncoplastic breast surgery, lumpectomy, therapeutic mammoplasty, breast conserving surgery, mastectomy and risk reducing surgery.
Gastroscopy, colonoscopy, gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery, laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, haemorrhoid treatment, vasectomy, ingrown toenail surgery, lipoma and cyst excision.
Breast cancer reconstruction including breast implants, lipomodelling and perforator flaps.
Breast lump assessment, high risk surveillance, breast reduction surgery.
Melanoma, basal cell, squamous cell and other skin cancer surgery
Thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
Dr Clark does not perform cosmetic breast augmentation or exchange of ruptured breast implants for patients that have undergone purely cosmetic breast augmentation. For patients requiring these services, Dr Clark suggests management by a plastic surgeon. Where implants have been placed for augmentation, Dr Clark will offer removal only, without replacement.
Dr Clark does not perform excision of skin lesions, biopsies or other minor procedures in her office. If you have been referred for excision of a skin lesion, during your appointment Dr Clark will assess your lesion and where appropriate, arrange to perform your surgery on a later date at Albury Wodonga Private Hospital (private patients) or Albury Wodonga Health (public patients). The surgery can occur under local anaesthetic, twilight sedation or general anaesthetic depending on the specifics of your condition.
